ZODIAC ART EXHIBITION
The rat is the first of all zodiac animals and is seen as a sign of wealth and surplus in Chinese culture. Designed and created in collaboration with Pineapple Design Studio and Chimera Atelier, wander the exhibition and explore the twelve intricately designed zodiacs. Scan the QR code to learn more about your zodiac and see what the year of the Rat has in store for you. Find the exhibition on ground floor nearby the Customer Service Desk from January 20th.
LUCKY BALL PIT
It’s time to take a dip in the Lucky Ball Pit! Slide into a sea of red and gold balls, just to play or maybe you will be lucky enough to find one of 300 prize balls that will be hidden throughout the 10 days. Play 10am to 2pm, from the 22nd to 31st of January.
KIDS KUNG FU CLASSES
Hosted by the Confucius Institute at University of Sydney, Kung Fu is a simple, direct and efficient form of martial arts that is founded on scientific principles and body biomechanics. This is a 60-minute workshop for a class of children to learn the fundamental Kung Fu concepts and practical skills. Tickets are $5
CHINESE ART WORKSHOPS
Hosted by the Confucius Institute at University of Sydney, this is a 60 minute workshop for a class of 16 children to learn the basics of traditional Chinese ink brush painting. This elegant brush writing technique is taught in a way that is easy to understand, yet meditative, enjoyable and relaxing. Tickets are $5
The Lion Dance is a traditional form of dance in the Chinese culture that brings good luck and fortune. Starting at Target and concluding near the food court, be entertained by this colourful performance, Saturday 25th January 3pm and Saturday 1st February 1pm.
